I couldn't have asked for a better stay! The hotel was perfect for my family of four in every way. The rooms were nice and clean with all the necessary amenities, making our stay excellent. The location was amazing, allowing us to explore Gion easily. The dining options were top-notch, and the catering staff did an excellent job. However, the only downside was the white rice in the meals.

The rooms were spacious and very quiet, which is a miracle, considering it is located so close to the hub of Gion activity. They are very comfortable to stay in. The price, though, was a downside with having been charged the entire room stay up front.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were a wonderful experience, from the bathing to the sleeping arrangement. It was very comfy and a welcome new experience for someone like me, especially being laid out in traditional Japanese style. The rooms were divided into five areas, providing more than enough room for the three of us, with beautiful sliding screens or doors separating each section. However, the dining experience was not worth it despite the delicious offerings. The location was superb, close to shops, food, and a cherry blossom festival, but be aware that a bus or taxi is needed to reach Kyoto Station.
